APW - Waltham, P.S. Bartlett, Model 1857, 11J, 18S, unusual silver AWCo HC with beautiful engine turning and engraving detail inset with elegant black tracery enamel, pumpkin style pendant, lion hallmark, white enamel SS dial, KWKS, gilt mvt, s#704208.
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, fully wound and will tick weakly if excess pressure is given at barrel arbor, overhaul needed, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some typical fine scratches and scattered surface spots; nearly flawless dial with very small fine scratch below seconds-register, minuscule nick to upper left rim of seconds-register, some bits of adhesive residue on its surface at perimeter; fine hands, hour with some bend, minute with some tool marks to its center hub; case shows very light wear, some light fine scratches to small front shield which may be a crude attempt at initials, no dents or dings, good engine turning and engraving detail overall with slight reduction at front shoulder and moderate loss to rear shoulder, black enamel is substantially intact with some scattered small portions of loss, case bezel has had material removed at 11:30 area and around latch area; tight bow, push shows light wear and has some dings to its upper portion; good glass crystal.
